It is also very important to notice that in matters like this in countries like here laws target helping the person whether or not such help had facilitated the attack. For example, they talk about prosecuting material support to terrorists, the whole person, not just his terrorism activity. In other words, if you give somebody you know he is going to make or help in making such attack a year from now a cup of water to drink today then you could get prosecuted for it. The same thing applies to you for anyone who help you in anything knowing that you are going to help that attacker, and so on. You see how that could be extended.
